Sydney Murugan Temple provides a forum, place, premises and/or facilities for worship, prayer, teaching, and other related religious and philosophical activities, based on the Saivaism and Tamil language. Every year the temple management contacts the members for the Annual General meeting via mail. Over the years there has been issues with returned mail due to low quality of contact information within the temple systems resulting in unhappy members, and increased costs due to returned mail.
Sydney Murugan Temple has a continued focus on reducing waste, cost, environmental sustainability and reducing our footprint of returned, undeliverable mail.
Sydney Murugan Temple approached Addresser to provide data cleansing, standardisation, verification of contact information prior to sending out the mail ahead of the 2022 Annual General Meeting. Additionally, Addresser augmented the data with Australia/New Zealand Post DPIP and Barcode data once the address was appropriately matched.
Addresser offered an efficient and competitive solution. Addresser services enabled us to clean up our member database, whilst eliminating undeliverable mail items and reducing paper waste.
